The service of phone number portability successfully penetrates in CSI states
The service of phone number portability successfully penetrates in CSI states. In April 2014, Armenia become the sixth state from CSI where was implemented the number portability.
First state from CSI that implemented the number portability service was Georgia in 2011, then Belarus in 2012. The next states were Moldova and Russia in 2013, Azerbaijan in 2014.
Kazakhstan and Ukraine are working on implementation plan of portability, and probably very soon, number portability will be launched on their market.
